Before your arrival

WHAT ARE THE AGE RESTRICTIONS AT YOUR APARTHOTEL?

The minimum age requirement to check-in at Cityden The Garden Amsterdam South is 18.

WHAT TIME CAN I CHECK-IN? IS AN EARLY CHECK-IN POSSIBLE?

Check-in is at 3 PM. You can request an early check-in the day before your arrival. Please note that an early check-in is based on availability. The price for an early check-in is € 25,-. We like to speed up the check-in process, so you can start as soon as possible with the journey you came for. That is why you can already fill in the check-in form in advance via the link in your confirmation email.

WHAT TIME DO I NEED TO CHECK-OUT? IS A LATE CHECK-OUT POSSIBLE?

Check-out is at 11 AM. Feel like sleeping in? Late check-out can be requested the evening before departure, based on availability. You can stay until 1 PM for € 25,- and until 4 PM for € 50,-.

WHAT IS THE AMOUNT OF THE CITY TAX?

The city tax at Cityden The Garden Amsterdam South is € 3,- p.p.p.n.

CAN I STORE MY LUGGAGE AT THE PROPERTY?

We have a secured luggage room located on the ground floor. Storing your luggage is free of charge. Just ask one of our colleagues if you are in need of any assistance – as always, we are happy to help you out.

IS THERE A SECURITY DEPOSIT? HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET IT BACK?

Please note a deposit is required which will be authorized upon arrival on your credit card or debit card – € 50,- per stay if you booked a Studio or Studio XL and a deposit of € 150,- per stay if you booked a 1-Bedroom Apartment, 2-Bedroom Apartment or 2-Bedroom Apartment XL.

WHAT CREDIT CARDS DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept Visa, Mastercard & American Express.

WHAT’S YOUR PET POLICY?

We love pets, but unfortunately, we can’t host them for stayovers. Guide dogs are always welcome.

ARE THERE PARKING SPOTS AVAILABLE AT CITYDEN THE GARDEN?

Cityden The Garden Amsterdam South is located near the Q-Park Handelsplein, a secured parking garage where you can park your car for a fee.

IS THERE FREE WI-FI AT YOUR PROPERTY?

We all know Wi-Fi is important to get things done or to scroll through our Instagram, so we assure you a free and fast connection anywhere in your den, restaurant and common hotel areas.

DO YOU ALLOW SMOKING AT THE APPARTMENTS?

Please note that we are a non-smoking aparthotel and that is not allowed to smoke in or around the building.

DO YOUR APARTMENTS HAVE A BATH?

The 1-Bedroom Apartment & 2-Bedroom Apartment have a bathtub and rain shower. The Studio, Studio XL & 2-Bedroom Apartment XL have a modern bathroom with only a rain shower.

DO YOUR APARTMENTS HAVE A BALCONY?

Our apartments don’t have a balcony, but we’re located near a city park & the Amsterdamse Bos.

WHEN IS MY APARTMENT BEING CLEANED?

You will receive fresh towels and toiletries every 2 days. Please note that a full cleaning of your apartment applies every four days. If you would like additional cleaning during your stay, a supplement of € 30,- will apply per full cleaning.

HOW CAN I RESERVE A BABY COT AND/OR BABY CHAIR?

Let us know in advance if you need one & we will make it happen. Please note that a baby cot and baby chair are based on availability. The price for a baby cot is € 15,- per night and a baby chair is free. Please note that the baby cot and baby chair are based on availability.

DO THE APARTMENTS HAVE A DRYER/WASHER COMBINATION?

We have a laundry room on the ground floor. The machines operate with € 1,- coins. Instructions are located in the laundry room but you can always ask one of our team members at the reception.

IS THE KITCHEN IN THE APARTMENT FULLY EQUIPPED?

Yes, so you will have everything you need to create your favourite dish or try out some new ones!

ARE THERE EXTRA BED OPTIONS? ARE VISITORS ALLOWED?

Unfortunately, adding an extra bed to a Studio or Apartment isn’t possible. Please be aware that it is not allowed to receive any guests in the apartment or building that are not registered during check-in.

Services

DO YOU RENT OUT BIKES?

Yes, of course, we do! Let us know in advance how many and when you need the bikes, so we can arrange this for you or reserve your bike at the reception and go for it. We have regular bicycles, children’s bicycles and bicycles with a child seat available. The rental price for 1 day is € 16,-.

DO YOU HAVE A SHUTTLE SERVICE?

Unfortunately, we do not. But We are more than happy to arrange a taxi for you with our preferred and sustainable partner Travel Electric.

DO YOU SELL PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION TICKETS?

Yes, we do! Tickets for bus, tram and metro can be bought from the reception desk. You can get a one day or multi-day travel ticket, as well as a day ticket for children. Tickets are valid across the whole Amsterdam network from the first check-in, allowing you to take as many journeys as you wish within your chosen time frame.

IS THERE A BREAKFAST BUFFET?

Yes, we have! Enjoy our unlimited breakfast buffet for only € 12,50 per person, when booked in advance. Join us everyday from 07:00 – 10:00h & start your day off right.

IS THERE A RESTAURANT & BAR AT YOUR PROPERTY?

Yes! Whether you are in a hurry to visit the city or ready to sit down for a casual dining experience, Lucia’s Restaurant & Bar has the fuel that keeps you going.

DO YOU HAVE ANY TIPS FOR EXPLORING THE CITY?
